As previously announced, Coastal has formed a key partnership with the Durham Bulls and this season offers an opportunity for local organizations to renovate their baseball/softball facilities. The project is entitled “The Durham Bulls Ballpark Project Presented by Coastal Credit Union.”

If you’re on a Little League team, softball league, involved with a Miracle League, or a local school or Parks and Recreation department, you can apply for a $10,000 grant to upgrade your facilities. Really, all you have to do is fill out their application AND submit a 500-750 word essay describing why this particular renovation would be important to your facility. The Durham Bulls also encourage you to supplement your application with videos, photos, testimonials, or even individual endorsements. The more creative, the better. Make your organization stand out!

Applications, essays, and supplemental materials must be submitted by Monday, June 18th at 5 p.m. They are accepted via emails at socialmedia@durhambulls.com or by mail.   

Winners will be selected by a committee comprised of Durham Bulls and Coastal Credit Union employees, and will be announced in July. Winning organizations will also be recognized on-field at a Durham Bulls game in August. Get ready to send your representatives from your organization to the DBAP for that experience!
